Additional information
Milli Schlafly is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Informatics for Design, Engineering, and Learning (IDEAL) Lab at ETH Zurich. Her current research focuses on automated design and robotic assembly using machine learning. Milli obtained her Ph.D. from Northwestern University in the Center for Robotics and Biosystems, where she focused on developing task-agnostic strategies for robot design and control. Notable doctoral projects include (1) optimizing the physical bodies of robots to encode machine learning properties, (2) measuring deficits at functional dynamic task performance in stroke patients, and (3) augmenting the cognitive availability and decision-making of human users of robots.
